Once again, those of us that aren’t going to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have plenty of consolation prize side shows to choose from. And those of that are attending, well, these are conflict solvers or an excuse to see a favorite artist yet again. This year’s crop of Localchella offerings includes Blackpink at The Forum, CHVRCHES at Pappy and Harriet’s, Pusha T at The Novo and many more, including a couple mysteries that are still “TBA…” Personally, I’m holding out hope for Janelle Monáe or Aphex Twin, but that seems highly unlikely.
