Alt R&B favorites Wet have announced a couple of gigs for June in Los Angeles after a mesmerizing set at Air and Style 2018 last weekend!
The group will play the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Sunday, June 3 and the El Rey Theatre on Tuesday, June 5. The band also shared the first song from their yet-to-be-named sophomore record due out next year. Titled “There’s A Reason”, the song features a minimal amount of production as Kelly Zutrau’s voice floats effortlessly atop it. Give “There’s a Reason” a listen below:
The band acknowledged in a press release announcing the new song that the time spent since their debut Don’t You was rough on them.
“There were a lot of challenges and a lot of changes,” says Zutrau. “There were so many reasons to not make music together anymore, but something compelled us to keep coming back to it. That’s what ‘There’s a Reason’ is about.”
Tickets to see Wet at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever on Sunday, June 3 and at the El Rey Theatre on Tuesday, June 5 are priced at $35.00. Both shows go on sale Friday, March 16 at 10 AM Pacific Time. There is also a show in Santa Ana at the Constellation Room at the Observatory on Wednesday, June 6 that concludes the tour. Those tickets are priced at $25.00 and also go on sale March 16 at 10 AM. UPDATE: The Masonic Lodge show has sold out.
