A killer bill has been put together to raise funds for legendary downtown Los Angeles DIY-space The Smell.
Best Coast and Bleached will top the show, which takes place at the Belasco Theater on Saturday, January 7. No Age and Vice Cooler will also perform. It is being billed as the 19th anniversary for the venue.
UPDATE: Ty Segall and HEALTH were revealed as the two other names to be playing on the bill.
The Smell was given a notice of demolition and the cause to raise funds for their relocation has been underway ever since. The venue has played home to a lot of bands getting their starts in LA and it’s a venue many hold dear to their hearts. Their shows have always been affordable and it’s been a haven, particularly for the younger crowd.
All four acts are worthy of your money and it’s one of the best shows on the early schedule for 2017. Don’t miss out — see some good bands and support a great cause in the process.
