Oh my GOD. Goldenvoice just keeps on doing the damn thing. On Monday, they announced a new festival that will take place this May called Blurry Vision 2018.
The festival takes place Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 in Oakland, Calif. where I spent a lot of time growing up. It will happen at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park and is headlined by SZA and Migos.
The undercard is deep as hell. It features one of the few NxWorries shows ever billed — the project of Anderson Paak and Knxwledge that put out one of the best albums of 2016, Yes Lawd!, and it should be an amazing set. Also on the bill are rising hip-hop group Brockhampton, R&B and alt-pop sensation Alina Baraz, Kendrick Lamara protege Isaiah Rashad, alt R&B duo Majid Jordan, Bay Area favorite Kamaiyah, and more.
Tickets to Blurry Vision 2018 go on sale Friday, March 2 at 10 AM Pacific Time. A two-day general admission pass costs $185. Single-day general admission passes are priced at $99.
So stoked for Oakland — they deserve this.
