The Scarlet Opera dazzled in well-coordinated red attire at the sold-out Fonda Theatre in Hollywood last week, earning scores of new fans and musical acclaim as they continue on their way across the country opening for global pop sensation Ava Max. Touring in support of their recent EP Comedy which features hits such as “Alive” and “Riot”, the band played a 30-minute set filled with intense showmanship and theatrical grandeur as frontman Luka Bazulka channeled his inner Freddy Mercury and the rest of the band (Colin Kenrick, Daniel Zuker, Justin Siegal, and Chance Taylor) rocked out with energy, passion, and smiles – all seemingly having the time of their lives on stage. It was easy to see why the quintet has been called one of the best new rock bands to come out of Los Angeles, and why they have been on a steep rise towards stardom after forming only a handful of years ago. This band is definitely one to keep your eyes on.
