After touring in support of MØ earlier this year, including a scintillating show at The Novo, alt R&B songstress Tei Shi is returning to Los Angeles this July!
The NYC-based singer will headline at the intimate and awesome Resident in downtown Los Angeles on Monday, June 12. She’s touring in support of her awesome full-length debut record Crawl Space, which we reviewed as it was released back in March.
As good as the album sounds, the songs sound even more powerful live, as we saw earlier this year at The Novo. Tei Shi brings some of the best sounds of ’90s R&B (think Janet Jackson vibes) into today’s electro-pop world, with Mariah-caliber vocal talent. You won’t want to miss her perform live at one of Los Angeles’ most underrated venues.
Tickets to see Tei Shi at the Resident are priced at $15.00 and go on sale Friday, May 19 at 10 AM Pacific Time. The show is 21-and-up and starts at 7 PM.
