Post Malone closed out his 12 Carat Toothache Tour with Roddy Ricch at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA with two nights (11/15 & 11/16). In total there were four hometown shows for Post Malone with the other two taking place at the Kia Forum. At the age of 20 Post Malone already had his first big single. Now still under 30 Post Malone has become one of the biggest touring acts and has had number one hits with 21 Savage and Ty Dolla Sign as well as performed with the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the 61st Grammys and Aerosmith at the 2018 VMA’s. Post Malone has already won 10 Billboard Music Awards, an MTV VMA, three AMA’s, and received nine Grammy nominations on top of having over 80 million record sales. Post Malone was the first to top both the Adult Contemporary and Rap Airplay charts and beat Michael Jackson’s 34-year old record for most weeks on the Billboard Top R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums charts with Stoney hitting 77-weeks passing Thriller’s 76 consecutive weeks.
Post Malone had a one of a kind stage which is basically a triple thrust stage like a trident. The show had everything from smoke to pyro/flames, and a few explosions. The tour takes it’s name from the album released in June this year. The album went to number one on the US Top R&B/ Hip-Hop Albums chart and includes collaborations with Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Gunna, Fleet Foxes, Kid Laroi, and the Weeknd. Post Malone performed 24 songs including hits like “Better Now,” “Sunflower” from Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse, “Rockstar,” “Cooped Up” with Roddy Ricch. Post Malone performed “Stay,” Goodbyes,” and “Circles” acoustically. The final song was none other than “White Iverson,” the song that helped make Post Malone a superstar. On night two The Kid LAROI came out for “Wasting Angels.”
Post Malone will be opening for the Red Hot Chili Peppers in January and February in New Zealand and Australia for six shows.
