Frank Ocean debuted new music the only way he knows how: without any sort of warning shot.
An episode of Frank Ocean’s Beats 1 radio show was announced out of nowhere, and on the show he dropped a new song “Chanel.” Ocean would go on to play the song on repeat for an hour, including various versions of the track. The original tune is now available on Spotify, listen to it here:

After making us wait several years for new music, Frank Ocean is letting the floodgates open — and oh, it is glorious. Ocean famously released two albums in a week last year, the visual album Endless and then the critically-acclaimed blonde. Ocean also famously didn’t submit his work to the GRAMMYs — nor did he attend the event, saying the awards committee is out of touch.
