Conor Oberst is headlining the Greek Theatre in May, backed by The Felice Brothers. The show just got some extra depth added to it, as singer-songwriter Julien Baker will join him on the bill!
Baker provided one of 2015’s best records, Sprained Ankle, and I’ve seen her deliver memorable shows ever since! It started with a performance in a church at last year’s SXSW, then I saw her again at Shaky Knees, then a riveting headline performance at the El Rey that left many in tears.
Baker is the perfect complement to Oberst’s brand of music. Oberst’s new record Salutations comes out next Friday, March 17, via Nonesuch Records. They will perform at the Greek Theatre on Saturday, May 13.
Tickets to the show are still available in certain sections. The remaining seats are priced between $21.00 and $31.00. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
