Rock and soul group Durand Jones & The Indications are making a return to Los Angeles in the first quarter of 2018 and we are very excited.
The band will play the Troubadour on Tuesday, March 27. I caught them for the first time back at Music Tastes Good and they wowed me big time. If you’re a fan of Charles Bradley, this band should be right in your wheelhouse — they will give you goosebumps, particularly thanks to the power in Durand Jones’ vocal ability.
The song “Make A Change” is particularly fantastic (give it a listen below) and somehow their live show is that much better. Full disclosure, my roommate is friends with their drummer going back a long time and they came and kicked it at our place, but I wasn’t familiar with their music until I caught them at Music Tastes Good. They were one of the best acts I saw all weekend, so much so I caught them at Noname a few days later.
Tickets to see Durand Jones & The Indications go on sale Thursday, November 16 at 10 AM Pacific Time. Tickets cost $15.00 and the doors open at 8 PM.
