UK garage rock trio Dream Wife have shared a new video just a few weeks before they drop their awesome self-titled debut album.
The video for “Hey Heartbreaker” is an awesome cartoon where the three women in the band are instead robots. It’s kind of a bit Black Mirror (I just started binge watching that show for the first time) with its concept — the regular people are watching the robot band that is behind a laser cage. When the lasers fail, the band beats the shit out of the guys watching. Take a look below:
We got a copy of Dream Wife’s debut album a little early and will have a full review before the record drops January 26 via Lucky Number. It’s a solid first effort I definitely think it conveys how much energy these three women have. I caught them at the Echoplex late last year and fell in love with their charisma, particularly that of lead vocalist Rakel Mjoll — who plays up her innocent face but delivers some seriously bad ass lyrics.
