Los Angeles’ own bluesy rocker ZZ Ward is playing a local gig this June in Hollywood!
ZZ Ward made a splash with her debut record Til the Casket Drops back in 2012, following it up with an epic performance at Coachella in 2014. She’s an incredibly talented live performer, featuring a mix of blues, rock, and hip-hop — and also a ton of swagger. She’ll be performing at The Roxy on Friday, June 9 and it’s a show I highly recommend checking out.
After sharing an EP in 2015, she’s finally dropped some new tunes in recent months, including “The Deep,” a song featuring Chicago MC Joey Purp. Her first full-length record in five years is also set to drop this year, so she should be playing The Roxy with a slew of new tunes in tow.
Tickets to see ZZ Ward at The Roxy go on sale Thursday, April 20 at 10 AM Pacific Time and are priced at $30.00. Doors open at 7:30 PM, with the show starting at 8:30 PM.
