Rising R&B singer Tinashe is playing a free show downtown next Thursday and RSVPs are open!
Tinashe released her acclaimed Nightride mixtape last November and when I first saw her I called her the lovechild of Aaliyah and Janet Jackson. Her singing and dancing abilities certainly put her in that conversation.
The free show kicks off the Ford Front Row concert series — an event produced by Billboard and Ford in tandem that will also take place in three other cities. The show takes place Thursday, July 27 at the Belasco Theater. Tinashe will be joined by BJ the Chicago Kid. Doors are at 7 PM and it is a 21-and-over event. RSVP here to the event.
