The Panorama 2017 lineup dropped Monday, and all we can say is holy smokes!
Headlining the second-year festival are Nine Inch Nails, A Tribe Called Quest, Frank Ocean, Tame Impala, alt-J and Solange.
This is A Tribe Called Quest’s only announced festival stop so far. Tame Impala said they were going dark for most of 2017 as they work on music, so this will be a rare opportunity to see them this year. Nine Inch Nails are also going to be on the heels of new music and it’s their first announced show in three years. Top-to-bottom, this might be the best set of headliners of any festival in 2017.
Also on the bill are MGMT, Future Islands, Nick Murphy fka Chet Faker, Nicolas Jaar, Justice, Glass Animals, Tyler the Creator, Spoon, Belle & Sebastian, Cashmere Cat, Angel Olsen, Snakehips, and MØ.
Also getting some major festival love is Los Angeles favorite Cherry Glazerr, who we predicted would have a massive 2017. This is a pretty good start.
The festival returns to Randall’s Island on July 28 to July 30. Three-day general admission tickets cost $345.00, with single-day tickets going for $125.00 each. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 13 at 7 AM Pacific Time.
