Aussie indie rockers Middle Kids made a triumphant return to Los Angeles last Wednesday with a packed show at the Teragram Ballroom!
The band is on the road in support of their excellent sophomore record Today We’re The Greatest (via Domino Records) and they’ve been popular on the talk show circuit, with stops at Jimmy Kimmel, James Corden, and CBS This Morning.
Middle Kids recorded their latest album in Los Angeles in October of 2019, just before the pandemic ruined everyone’s plans. It was a busy time for lead singer Hannah Joy, who had her first child along with fellow bandmate Tim Fitz, and the record tugs on a lot of those heartstrings.
The fans were deeply into the show and cheered loudly for old favorites like “Edge of Town” in addition to the new record’s tunes.
Deep Sea Diver opened up the show with a stirring set as well.
