McDowell Mountain 2018 wrapped up over the weekend! The festival has been taken place since 2004 and this year celebrated its 15th year in Phoenix!
Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker), Big Gigantic, GRiZ, Father John Misty, The Revivalists, Gorgon City, O.A.R., Mura Masa, Dr. Dog, and Anderson East were just a handful of the awesome names we captured.
The festival draws a heady crowd with its mix of folk, funk, and left-of-center electronic bookings. The vibe of the festival is great as they preach a three C’s belief (community, culture, and charity). One aspect of this that stood out was the CAN’d Aid Foundation’s setup of helping build 75 bicycles for second grade students at local elementary school Garfield.
