Rising singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers has announced a winter tour in support of her upcoming full-length major label debut Heard it in a Past Life, which kicks off in Los Angeles.
Maggie Rogers will play the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, January 17, the night before Heard it in a Past Life’s feverishly-anticipated release.
Following the album release show at the Fonda, Rogers will tour Europe starting in February before returning to the states for a full North American tour that kicks off Wednesday, March 20 at The Phoenix in Toronto, Ontario. Once again, it pays to live in Los Angeles, because first dibs. Rogers returns to the the west coast in mid-April, with a stop at Oakland’s Fox Theatre on Friday, April 19. Check out the full tour dates below.
For all the festival heads, that spring tour leaves some conspicuous gaps during both Coachella weekends. But really, considering how Rogers’ latest single “Light On” is such a impossibly infectious and irresistibly cathartic soaring festival pop banger heavy with electro-feels that it was a foregone conclusion.
Continuing a rise to stardom that began with viral sensation “Alaska,” Rogers will also perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend on November 3. Jonah Hill will host the episode.
Tickets to see Maggie Rogers at Fonda Theatre on Thursday, January 17, 2019 cost $29.50 plus fees and go on sale Thursday, November 1 at 10 AM Pacific Time. Every online ticket purchase includes a CD (physical media, holler) of Heard it in a Past Life.
Brisbane rapper, singer and producer Mallrat will open the show.
Doors for the all ages show open at 7 PM. A fan pre-sale takes place Wednesday, October 31 at 10 AM with code: PASTLIFE. Rogers’ last Fonda Theatre appearance sold out in a flash, so we strongly recommend trying the presale. A presale for American Express card members is also forthcoming.
Maggie Rogers’ Heard it in a Past Life drops Friday, January 18 via Capitol Records. Pre-order Heard it in a Past Life on vinyl or digital.
