Lykke Li is an enigma.
From tour to tour, she completely reimagines her live performances. If you are a huge Lykke Li fan that wants to see her every time she comes through town, she doesn’t give you the same show twice. Both from a stage production element to her wardrobe to her setlist.
That was true this past Friday at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. Most of the setlist was from here latest release EYEYE but she also included four favorites from her breakthrough record I Never Learn and a handful of others — but only one from her most recent release prior to this one so sad so sexy — a more electro-R&B record than any of her other stuff.
