KAYTRANADA has enjoyed a banner 2016 — and he is going to end his year with a bang.
The Canadian producer will perform at The Novo in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, December 30. He is supporting his killer full-length record 99.9%, which has been critically acclaimed and helped him enjoy a whirlwind year. The album features Anderson Paak, Craig David, AlunaGeorge, Vic Mensa and others. This represents his biggest LA show to date by a large margin. Earlier this year, he played at the Fonda Theatre while also appearing at last weekend’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
We are hopeful we see him at Coachella next April. That he plays in December means he isn’t ruled out — the radius clause that accompanies most contracts related to the festival only encompass a certain amount of days before the festival. Based on how big of a year he had, it would be a huge shock if we don’t see him on the Polo Fields next year. We’ve moved him into our “Likely” section of our Festival Rumors page.
Tickets to see KAYTRANADA at The Novo go on sale Friday, November 18 at 10 AM Pacific Time. They are priced from $30.00 to $35.00. Door are at 8 PM and the show starts at 9 PM.
