It’s been a whirlwind few years for Francis And the Lights. Two critically-acclaimed albums, collaborations with the likes of Kanye West, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Bon Iver, and others, and standout performances at festivals across the country. Now he’ll add a stop at one of Los Angeles’ most infamous venues this summer.
Francis & The Lights have announced a show at the Fonda Theatre for Tuesday, June 19. I’ve been a huge follower of his since his first EP many years ago and it’s been amazing to see him blow up in recent years. Chance the Rapper brought him on tour with him and when the two played the same festival, usually joined him on stage for the dancing in “May I Have This Dance”, which was always awesome.
Francis followed up his amazing 2016 record Farewell, Starlite! with the surprise release of Just For Us at the end of 2017. Last year he headlined a show at the El Rey Theatre in between Coachella 2017 stops and I personally saw him amaze crowds at Boston Calling and Governors Ball among others. He also recently signed with massive agency CAA.
Tickets to see Francis and the Lights at the Fonda Theatre on June 19 are priced at $28.00 and are on sale now. It’s part of a limited tour run he’s making in June. Full tour dates at the bottom of this post.
