The Teragram Ballroom packed its house earlier this month for a very special night. Foxwarren is the project of Canadian singer-songwriter Andy Shauf along with Dallas Bryson and brothers Darryl and Avery Kissick. The childhood friends have been a band for some 10 years or so, but have just released their debut full-length self-titled album this past November. The beautiful collection of songs gives listeners a taste of something really special.
The Foxwarren album completely draws parallels to Shauf’s solo work whilst showcasing the stunning collaboration between the Canadian friends. The room was packed for a night of beautiful tunes and lots of laughs.
Shauf’s success as a solo artist meant a seven-year break between Foxwarren’s first effort, 2011’s Has Been Defeated. Absence makes the heart grow fonder as evidenced by how much the crowd was into Tuesday night’s show.
Foxwarren completes their American tour in mid-July before playing some home country gigs in Canada. Check out Danielle Gornbein‘s photos from the Teragram Ballroom gig below.
