The Desert Daze 2017 lineup just keeps getting better.
The Joshua Tree festival announced the addition of Iggy Pop, Ty Segall, SLEEP (performing Holy Mountain), BADBADNOTGOOD, and Cigarettes After Sex, among others. This goes with the already stupendous lineup featuring Spiritualized, Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile‘s new collaboration, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Hope Sandoval and The Warm Inventions, and several others.
The festival takes place October 12 to October 15, returning to the Institute of Mentalphysics. It boasts a lineup full of acts that aren’t on many — if any — other festival bills in 2017, making it one of the most eclectic festivals in an oversaturated market with similar lineups.
Iggy Pop is coming fresh off his memorable performance at Sunday of FYF Fest 2017 in downtown LA. He proved he’s still the ultimate rock star with a turn-back-the-clock set.
Passes are still on sale. Weekend general-admission passes are priced at $229.00. VIP weekend passes are priced at $350.00. The Thursday, October 12 portion of the festival is open to Super Duper VIP holders, priced at $450.00.
