The Day For Night 2017 lineup is out — and it’s as eclectic as one could hope for.
In an oversaturated festival space, Houston, Texas’ festival proved in their inaugural year last year that they could compete with other second-tier festivals. They’ve validated that claim with their second-year lineup, headlined by Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke. The festival takes place December 15 to December 17 at the historic Barbara Jones Post Office.
Also on this year’s bill are Solange, Justice, St. Vincent, Tyler the Creator, James Blake, Pretty Lights, Jamie XX, and Phantogram. Other acts include rare performances from Pussy Riot and The Jesus Lizard, sets from Cashmere Cat, Perfume Genius, Sky Ferreira, Kimbra, and holy shit — EN VOGUE.
The Friday summit includes performances from KAYTRANADA, Earl Sweatshirt, Saint Heron Presents ‘Soul Cleansing’ featuring Solange, Jenny Hval, Boots, Saul Williams, and talks by Chelsea Manning, Nadya Tolokonnikova of Pussy Riot, Laurie Anderson, and Lauren McCarthy.
Two-day general admission passes are priced at $205.00 and are on sale now. General admission passes with the Friday summit included are priced at $295.00. VIP three-day passes are priced at $750.00.
