London singer-songwriter-producer Bruno Major just dropped a new video for his song “Just The Same” — and it’s just in time for his Los Angeles debut this Friday.
Bruno Major gives me serious James Blake meets Rhye vibes. He’s built nicely on the increasingly popular downtempo electronic sound that has grown in recent years. He’s the younger brother of London Grammar’s Dot Major, and started making a living as a session guitarist when he was a teenager.
“Just The Same” is one of Bruno Major’s strongest songs, and the video that accompanies it is no different. On the writing of the song, he says: “Those opening chords came out, and the whole song was written in 20 minutes. I was in a long-distance relationship at the time and I was finding it really tough. I woke up the next day, recorded it, sent it off to be mixed and took the rest of the month off.”

Bruno Major is making his Los Angeles debut this Friday, November 3 at The Echo. The show is sold out, so hopefully you got your tickets early! We will see you there!
