LA-based, New Zealand-bred sibling synthpop duo BROODS have announced a tour for the spring. The BROODS tour includes a March 27 stop at the Fonda Theatre!
The duo will release their third full-length record Don’t Feed the Pop Monster on Feb. 1 via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records. It’s their first album since departing Capitol Records, and the title of the new album sounds like a pointed jab. Last month, they dropped a new single “Everything Goes (Wow)” that has the kind of energy you’ve come to expect.
I was lucky enough to hear a small preview of the BROODS record at The Roxy a few months back. I’m excited to see them turn around so quickly with another local show!
They just finished opening for Taylor Swift last month and shared the US television debut of hot single “Peach” on Late Night With Seth Myers. Lead singer Georgia Nott’s charisma is hard to match and she and brother Caleb will bring it on a spring tour. The tour kicks off Mar. 26 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, following it up with the Mar. 27 show at the Fonda Theatre. BROODS wraps up their tour Apr. 20 in Washington DC. Find the full tour dates below.
Tickets to see BROODS at the Fonda Theatre on Mar. 27 are $25.00 and go on sale Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 AM Pacific Time. The show is set to begin at 9 PM.
