Los Angeles songstress BANKS has announced a short run of intimate acoustic gigs in support of the 10th anniversary of her landmark debut album Goddess — and one of those shows will come to the El Rey next month!
An eventual release of an acoustic version of Goddess will also come at a future date. I was lucky enough to see BANKS perform a handful of these songs acoustically at a KROQ Sound Space show back in 2015 and they are still played on repeat for me to this day. Seeing her revisit these songs in that format is a dream, and we will all get the opportunity on Wednesday, October 23 at the El Rey Theatre.

In addition to the LA show, BANKS will play London on Oct. 21 and New York on Oct. 25. Pre-sale tickets for the shows will be available on Monday, Sept. 9 at 10 AM local time and general on-sale will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 10 AM local time.
