Awesome news as Norwegian singer Astrid S will be in Los Angeles in May performing at the Troubadour.
I first discovered the singer on a Spotify Discover Weekly playlist last year and quickly fell in love with her enchanting vocal ability.
“Hurts So Good” has over 123 million plays on Spotify and has been a consistent inclusion in any playlist I’ve put together in that time. Her vocals on Matoma’s “Running Out” help take that track to another level. The 20-year-old singer has the potential to be the next great musical export from Norway, with Kygo and Aurora being some of the more recent acts to flourish on U.S. soil.
You can see Astrid S perform at the Troubadour on Wednesday, May 17 and are priced at $15.00 for the all-ages show. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 AM Pacific Time. They are available now via a fan pre-sale with the code BREATHE. Doors to the show open at 7 PM.
